Beautiful elegant We stayed the night and had a three course meal for Valentine’s Day. The staff are fabulous so helpful, very professional and was never waiting to long. Food was outstanding the room was stunning! So modern, clean and fresh! Highly recommend and would love to stay again

An old haunt of mine, tastefully refurbished, plush decor, indeed a touch of class ! The downside is that prices are fairly high, a Sunday roast of 3 slices of ham and trimmings at £23 and a bottle of NZ Sauvignon at £38 is a lot even for a Gastro pub! The lunches were delicious though with generous portions of vegetables. The service was exemplary.

Fabulous breakfast for birthday, food was amazing fabulous service by the male waiter. The coffee is fab! Just perfect!

First time visiting this newly refurbished hotel/restaurant. Popped in for coffee and cake, this time, but will now book to try out their lunchtime menu: as a very pleasant and warm (sat by the fire on a cold morning) visit. The decor is top notch, and the colour scheme calming and tasteful. Large groups enjoying coffee and seemed popular but not over crowded. Look forward to my next visit.

Nice decor, staff friendly but oh, what a disappointing meal. We ordered roast beef, and when the plate arrived I had to look hard for the meat. At first I thought it was streaky bacon, but no, very fatty, very thin and very small slices of roast. To compensate the vegetables were good so I suppose I had a vegetarian meal. Don't suppose I'll ever go back or recommend this place.
