Pizza Express Arundel

Today we celebrated our daughter's birthday party at this restaurant and I want to thank James and Poppy for their exceptional service. They were incredibly helpful, friendly with all the children, and very professional. I am truly grateful for their efforts, as everyone had a fantastic time.

The staff is lovely, and the food is consistently good. Our waitress, Poppy, was efficient and friendly. There are great gluten-free options available. There is a nice outdoor courtyard to dine in, though it could use some weeding. Overall, it was a very enjoyable lunch.

The staff at the restaurant were friendly, but there was a bit of a wait. Surprisingly, the Pizza Express I purchased at Sainsbury's was better than the one served in the restaurant. The thin crust in the restaurant was very tough, making it difficult to cut through. It was also lacking toppings. In contrast, the Sainsbury's pizza had generous toppings and a slightly thicker crust while still being thin. It was much easier to cut and tasted better. Additionally, it was more affordable.

We had a birthday lunch for my husband today with my friends and it was an amazing experience. The two staff who served us Abi Poppy, were very kind and friendly. They assisted us in preparing the birthday cake and singing the birthday song for my husband. He was surprisingly delighted with his birthday lunch. Highly commended Abi and Poppy for their excellent service!

Arrived a few minutes early for my daughters Birthday and got told we would have to sit by the wall. The chair would not pull out without me having to sit at an angle with the wall in my back. The water glasses were filthy not that any water was offered) and we placed our order. My daughter asked for the polenta fries with her vegan pizza and we ordered what we wanted. The pizza's arrived minus the fries. I asked for Parmesan and that never arrived. At the end of the meal we mentioned things were't right and got told if we wait they would make some fries for us. We declined and ordered dessert. Mine arrived minus the chocolate straw advertised on the menu and my daughters brownie never came. Long after i had finished her dessert arrived. I had had enough at this point and wanted to just leave. We asked for the bill and it arrived. It then sat on the table complete with credit card and was just ignored. I took the bill to the till and paid and left. Overpriced, poor quality and poor service. Would not recommend or return. Ever.
