La Karett' A Pinard - Arras

We loved this place and the owners! We arrived for lunch and the smell of the carbonnade was intoxicating and sucked us in… Alex the owner is very knowledgeable about wine (and Arras) and nothing we wanted or asked for was too much trouble. The wine list was reasonably priced and the food delicious!! Really recommend this enticing bar/restaurant when you are visiting Arras

We stumbled upon this place by accident, it looks really unassuming from the outside but inside has really warm decor and is perfect for a cosy meal with great wine. We had the sharing board for two and traditional chicken casserole, all the food was lovely and the matching wine was so good we bought bottles to take home.

On the way to Lille with some friends we decided to stop off at Arras for some lunch and stumbled upon this little gem of a wine bar by pure chance. And what luck we had! We had an excellent lunch sampling everything from the menu raviolis aux courgettes, croque monsieur, bruscetta and a giant planche of cheese and charcuterie(all of which were locally produced) and were well advised on some delicious red wines, so well advised that we left having bought two more bottles, which went down well with our friends in Lille. We had such a warm welcome and the whole experience from the staff, the place, the food and the wine was so good that I would highly recommend making a detour if you're going to Lille to come eat here or checking it out if you're in Arras. We certainly hope to come back. Next time, we might even buy the table!

A good time. the recommended wine corresponded exactly to our expectation and its promise, the board for 2 was copier and the excellent products. from the very beautiful decoration to the very pleasant reception, this wine-caviste bar is a very nice discovery for the epicurians.
