Bidra med feedbackThe local wine is nice, the seafood is not excellent, but good. The harbour views are very nice. The table service was alright, with the exception of the waiter doing a rude gesture by yawning intentionally when I was trying to get my point across in his language otherwise he was funny singing around all the time.
This place is on the docks above what looks like the boat yard. Look past the exterior and you are in for a treat. Once in the door which is round the back, and up the stairs is a very quaint typically Spanish restaurant. Firstly the fish and seafood is amazingly fresh you can literally watch the boats land their catch and see it going to the restaurant. It’s cooked to perfection. If you like fresh fish and seafood then you need to give this place a try but be warned, it will spoil you and you will struggle to go anywhere else! PS it’s incredible value now you don’t have any excuses to try it!
If you take the walk from puerto calero stop here for a fan coffee and views if the harbour before setting back, 45-60mins us a good time for the return trip!
It literally means the “fishermen’s union” and is the best place for seafood fresh out of the sea. That's because it's on the harbour front and so has a lovely seafront view and the food is great. I wanted everyone's meal as I looked around everyone's table, they all looked so good. Very popular for lunch and probably cheapest meal I had but don’t get the wrong impression its a very nice, proper restaurant with attentive service. It also does meat but why bother?
This is really a great place to get a super nice and big paella with fresh sea food and fish. Lots of tables on the terrace and funny and charismatic personnel. Food was great, house wine nice and the Estrella draught beer was awesome!
