Bidra med feedbackWe found this restaurant by chance. There was building work going on so it did not at first look very appealing but the simple menu looked good with a range of courses at different prices. The food was delicious and freshly prepared. The service was...friendly .
A new restaurant or more correctly an old that has had a complete makeover! Les S.... Has benefited from a refurb that brings it bang up to date, with an open kitchen and style that flatters this old stone building. The menu is short and...seasonal, the pricing is geared around how many courses you have so adopts a set price/menu approach. For my main I had Partridge on a bead of cabbage and ham which was perfectly cooked my wife had the beef on a bead of wild mushrooms which to call it tender would be doing it a serious disservice it was melt in the mouth... Courses that surrounded the main were equally good. The wine list includes all of the Cru's and I would say is fairly priced. We are well, we booked for a return visit with friends. Another good Beaujolais eatery within a 10km radius of us! I wish it every success!
Eating here is good and authentic and they served a large amount with lightness. the prices are reasonable and the atmosphere charming.
Sunday and Lunch and Les Sarments a marriage made in heaven. We visited and had the usual great care from the staff and a truly memorable meal. The attention was even greater as my wife had a call from her 87 year old mother...which necessitated 20 minutes on the mobile (outside the restaurant) and the staff took our food away to keep it warm with no fuss. Everything was just sublime even better as the mother in law was alright and didn't need us to leave and attend her. The duck was just perfect and the desserts special, just a bit sad that I had the last bottle of Macon Vielle Vignes but that's excuse to explore the wine list further...
