Bidra med feedbackWe celebrated our anniversary, as we had met at JALEO seven years earlier, and passed on to our favorite places of Jose Andres. It was wonderful to see my favorite staff and managers and learn what restaurants they are going, so we follow them and start visiting some of the restaurants in the Penn Quarter. We enjoy nothing more than the relaxed and festive JALEO and it sister restaurants, and the fantastic food and service to everyone. In the meantime, we would like to thank all the dedicated employees of Crystal City for special experiences, even though we just fell in. We love you and we will miss you.
So glad to have come and one of the last nights for Jaleo in Crystal City. Everyone was so wonderful
The Catalan paella was just outstanding! Always fun to participate and enjoy the paella festival
We were there for my mother’s bday. Hostess acknowledged this note in the reservation, nothing from the waitress, who didn’t even introduce herself so I thought she was busser at first. Had questions about accommodating a dietary restriction and her answer was basically take it or leave it because nothing can be done. Food and ambiance good, service was just ok. Been to several of Jose Andres’ restaurants so surprised by how mediocre this place felt by the end.
I wanted to visit this place as they shy their doors after 17 years. After we sit fast, we waited for about 15 minutes before we had to ask someone if we had a server. The Lord checked with the front and said he would help us. Although friendly, his service was terrible. He forgot orders, food came room temperature, false dessert brought, and had to constantly ask for the clamps, e.g. bread and diving oil. A separate server came to our table and was instrumental to get us the right dessert. He was friendly enough to clear our table that Busboys overlooked during the walk through the restaurant. This other waiter gave us the check and talked to us. He was excellent and represented the restaurant well.
