Dudley's Sport Ale - Arlington

We played bingo and ordered half-price burgers. Our server was very attentive this time, and the food was much better compared to the last few bingo nights.

My girlfriend and I decided to have a low-key New Year's Eve and avoid long lines and expensive covers, so we chose to go to Dudley's. They were advertising a New Year's Eve countdown happy hour with $10 pizzas, wings, and $6 Tito's cocktails after 8pm. Unfortunately, our experience was not great. Our waiter seemed confused when we asked about the happy hour, and later informed us that the $10 pizza only applied to plain cheese and the $6 Tito's cocktails had limited mixers. The service was poor, with our waiter only visiting our table three times in the five hours we were there and ignoring our attempts to get his attention. The food was average, but the lukewarm beers and hot glasses were disappointing. Overall, the service ruined our New Year's celebration and we ended up leaving early because we couldn't even get our check. I would not recommend this place unless you have hours to spare and don't mind bad service.

I really enjoyed the new waitress at the restaurant! I didn't catch her name, but she was very attentive. I hope she gets to work on Tuesdays for trivia night!

Our appetizers came with our main meal and the excuse was the kitchen was backed up which made no sense since the place was 1/2 full. Food was ok as was the service. We are from out of town so we will not be back. Having said this I think everyone should at least try this restaurant as could just have been a bad night.

I can't say enough great things about our experience at Dudley's. We had a (surprise) party of 12 14 people to celebrate a friend's birthday. The headcount was in flux for most the preceding week, and Dudley's promptly accommodated our changing requests. We were seated on the rooftop next to the bar, which was the perfect setting for our gathering! Nicole, our waitress, was the best server I've had in many, many years. Polite, prompt, accommodating and thoughtful with respect to every detail, including birthday candles and take home containers! She didn't hesitate to create separate tabs for each guest, even though it likely was more difficult and time consuming for her. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dudley's for larger gatherings a perfect, memorable evening thanks to their outstanding staff. The next time we plan such a gathering, Dudley's will be top of mind!
