I visited this place yesterday with my wife after leaving our hotel. We just wanted a quick breakfast before hitting the road. The service was amazing, not only that but the food was really good and very unforgettable. I would say this place would be my go to if I didn’t live so far. We loved it. I went back to Pioneer Restaurant with my mother for breakfast a few weeks and got her 3 eggs combo with grits. Everything tasted amazing and the belts were perfect consistency. As the shield says, family food and just good food!

Everything was on point! The dumplings were rich and flavorful. The entire meal had that soul food feeling to it; made with consideration and taste in mind.

Really do not know how to taste simple breakfast so great!!!! This breakfast place really recommend. No further explanation required. I'm not surprised why it's so packed and people are constantly coming. Service is also great.

Our server Molly was like something from a movie. So sweet and attentive, the best smile and sweetest accent. She really made the place feel at home. Everyone was so nice and helpful, I loved my experience there.
