Bidra med feedbackWe loved the setting great garden tables in the shade, beautiful surrounding. The service was very nice as well (other than the waiting time). Unfortunately the food.. the kids menu included fries soaking in oil, which my kids did not want to touch, and nuggets that were not very fresh.. Maybe we were unlucky to arrive towards the end of the lunch time, but I don't think we will go back
We were on our bicycles, cycling around the Camargue and had been told to take food and drink because there was little in the way of refreshments. They lied, we found this place! It doesn't look much from the outside but the amount of cars parked outside give a good indication of its popularity. We stopped for a simple yet tasty and generous lunch. The building is full of character, and the leafy terrace gave welcome respite from the sun. The place was full a mix of tourists and locals alike. Oh and the toilets were lovely and clean : , not something you can guarantee in France!
A nice little restaurant, a pleasant welcome and a good small menu less than 25€.
Lunch for the Vaccarès bike ride, 5 people, on reservation, 2 hours from the Saintes. Very welcoming, shaded terrace overlooking a bull manade. Bike parking next to the tables. The toilets are 20m from the restaurant. Quick and nice service. The salmon is perfectly cooked, accompanied by rice and some green beans. The very tender bull meat, homemade fries. A generous hot goat salad with a good raw ham rag. We'd stay on the road, but 35 miles to go... We recommend it! Simple but effective kitchen, fresh products, without tourist traps, superb setting, correct price.
We didn't have the pleasure of eating, but just having a drink. We were cycling around the Vaccares and it's nice to find this restaurant bar on our way
