Bidra med feedbackMy mother and I received a gift certificate for Christmas for a restaurant. The location itself was beautiful, set in a lovely environment. However, the service was poor and the food was even worse. I ordered fish and chips, but the batter on the fish was drenched in oil, making it barely edible. My mother ordered Steak Pie, but it turned out to be more like a hotpot with a crust on top. She had also ordered onion rings to go with it, which turned out to be overly greasy. Even the dessert did not make up for the disappointing meal. When we left, we expressed our dissatisfaction with the staff, only to be charged extra for the terrible onion rings. Overall, our experience at this restaurant was extremely disappointing.
The atmosphere at this restaurant is bright and inviting, located in the heart of downtown DC. The food was decent but a bit overpriced for the quality. The restaurant could use some improvements, such as filling the empty salt shakers and vacuuming the carpets. The staff was friendly and attentive, but it's hard for them to compete with other restaurants in terms of quality.
I had a very disappointing dining experience at this restaurant recently. Our appetizers, soup and Halloumi skewers, were not impressive. The soup was served in a large bowl with a strange green liquid on the floor. The Halloumi skewers were bland and unsatisfying, lacking presentation. I was hoping the main courses would be better, but they were not. The vegan burger was overcooked and served on a huge plate with burnt fries and a small side salad. The burger was dry and tasteless, making it difficult to eat. Even my friend's burger was dry and came with burnt fries. We decided to skip dessert and coffee. It seems like this restaurant relies on tourist trade, as I cannot imagine locals frequenting it for the food. Overall, a terrible dining experience and I will not be returning.
The inn on hole lomond was highly recommended by several sources, so perhaps our disappointing experience came from inappropriate high expectations or simple circumstances. there are many parking places, and it is so convenient on the street. the employees are all very friendly, and. copy exceptionally with the Kovid measures, but the dining areas have seen better days and are tired dated. both the weinlist are the vegetarian options limited uninspiring; with some of them already sold out, although we were fed early in the evening. I had the vegan burger who was really a terrible dry plate of a thing, but the chips were excellent. oh found his eating quite average (except the chips), often the broken fish chips from other diners (which he desires that he would be ordered instead). it is such a scandal with a public held in imprisonment, and a first-class situation, but eating was a massive dizziness.
Bought a Groupon voucher for a wee Sunday lunch. Vegetarian selection was very poor. Only vegetarian main course was a vegetable curry which was very bland and tasteless. If you are a meat eater there is a good variety of food.
