Brasserie Le Centre - Argelès-Gazost

We were positively surprised by how good and generous the food was in this brasserie. The owner is fun to talk to and joke with. The portions are generous and the pizzas are the best in Argeles-Gazost

Been to Argeles twice now and have spent many a happy hour eating and drinking here. Fabian is very welcoming!

They try to get advantage of the tourists. I visited this place during the tour the France, at this time we were a lot of tourists in the town, so the owner of the place scammed the tourist as many times as he could. We ordered two drinks and requested the account, when he noticed that we were foreigners he tried to charge us more than the real cost of the two drinks. He told us one price in french, as he supposed that we hadn't understood anything, he charged us more than what he had told us before, and not by mistake, he knew perfectly what he was doing. After complaining (in french, because we speak french) in a very rude way he gave us (more than give, he threw us) our money complaining about us. Incredible. I also saw how he scammed two British men who were near us, he proceed more or less in the same way. This kind of people are the ones who ruin all the efforts to attract tourism, every year a lot of public funds are invested in the area, an idiots like this guy ruin all these efforts giving horrible impression of such a nice place. I also have to say that the day before we had a few drinks in the same place and a nice young waiter served us correctly. They owners of this place are lucky having this waiter working for them.

Great service. The food was better than my precious Lourdes review and we really enjoyed the desserts. Solid spot for lunch for sure.
