What a meal after a whole day outside enjoying view and nature we really enjoyed an amazing local meal the Colombian waitress (sorry forgot the name) helped us trough the menu and suggested us with an amazing choice we ate upstairs which is very comfy thank you for the wonderful time

Hot day so a trip up the mountain was a good idea, wonderful views on the way up to the restaurant. Sitting outside in the shade was lovely and cool. Staff very friendly and helpful. Long lunch, plenty of good regional food (menus of 18 to 24€ and wine. Lovely!

Very friendly staff, of course, if you speak French they can tell you everything about this place. Our server even remembers my friend who came here last year! Food and wine are comfort country style. It makes you feel right at home. The view, oh the view is worth the trip. The price is comparable. For a five course meal is 18 euro, they open at 12:15 8:30. Reservation is recommended.

We really enjoyed our experience st the auberge. However the address on the trip advisor map is completely wrong. The auberge is right up near the Hauticam around 11kms from the river turnoff. Well worth the drive!

I selected this restaurant from TripAdvisor. A large number of reviews that rated it well. The 7 of us had all ridden up Hautacam the day before and hadn't noticed the restaurant. Our Maitre'd at the Hotel said the food was honest Auberge fare . Given the location was only a few Km's from the Sommet we had not expected many guests. We arrived at 6.30 pm. One other guest arrived with us . A warm greeting as we entered. We had a glass of wine while we waited for the table to be set. We ordered the Set menu. 6 courses. The opening dish was a hearty vegetable and ham soup which was delicious. Each dish came and was well cooked country fare . The wine was moderately priced and drunk well. By the time dessert came we were contemplating walking home to burn a calorie or two. The 7 of us thought that the restaurant was honest , unpretentious excellent service with a great vibe and great value. If we could have given it 4.5 we would. Our only recommendation would be if your going for dinner don't have lunch. Highly recommended.
