Cafe Restaurant Antojitos de Arequipa

Found this place randomly in Arequipa and had a great dinner there. My girlfriend is vegetarian and was really happy that the menu had several meat-free options that were also traditional and local (if many menus turisticos have spaghetti as the only vegi...option). we both had soltero de queso and she had a cheese soup with potatoes while I had Caldo de gallina, the portions were huge, everything was delicious, the staff was friendly and it was very good.

I used to be there in Arequipa in my three weeks. Recommended by a local and as mentioned in another review, it is a local place, even if it is right in front of the Plaza Armas. The best for lunchtime when a two course meal plus drink and...fruit will cost about 10s. The first course is usually a soup that is in itself a meal. Be there early because the options disappear when the almuerzo period continues. About 4 o'clock things get pricier, as the fixed price lunch ends. Everything else (service, fit-out) is quite average, but the food is good.

Great juice, sandwich-WAs are meh. I had a mango passion fruit juice and it was excellent. The triple sandwich I had was good, but not great. Place could be a little cleaner.

No es muy estetico el lugar como mayormente son los negocios o resto en Cusco! Pero logran facturas hojaldradas suprr ricas con un dulce de leche muy similar al de Argentina! Visitalo y llevate algo rico q hacen ahi
