Again a great visit with magnificent pasta arrangements. this remains a must visit place every time we are here
I am very happy as far as my sister lives in arcevia, only on the road of la baita. for more years when I notice when we visit le marche or my sister, there is the obligatory pilgrimage here. in the...hills, it's one of my favorite places. okay, so I have eaten in smarter restaurants, the imagination, pony and sometimes better purchase, but as a whole, eating here is just so pleasant. the place is always filled with locals so that only tell them everything they need to know (except, try the mixed roast meat with cream balls off the beaten track, not close to any tourist destination, but if they are ever in striking distance, it is worth a visist.
On the top of the mountain angel of arcevia, in the quiet and surrounded by woods this historic restaurant continues the tradition of home cooking, simple goose and without frills. handmade pasta, meat of all kinds always generates and goose, mushrooms, truffles, red wine of their estate (good,) tables both inside and under the gazebos, small outdoor pool for the summer. the structure brings well the years it has, while it shows them, and invites to convivivial dinners and lunches. also known for ceremonies and weddings. kind staff, moderate prices, and after a nice meal not to miss the walk until the small church on the top (about min walk) where you enjoy a breathtaking view over the whole region makes.
The cut kalb came on a hot stone at the bone and was still almost raw, I had ordered medium, had it back to the roast. the rabbit had more bones than meat. the house wine was good. we were disappointed that this was served in the high price restaurant, such food. we had expected more, due to internet reviews we drove to eat in the la baita
