World class sandwich's in tiny Arcata. Worth a quick visit to the historic Jacoby building on Arcata plaza for one of the best sandwiches anywhere. Friendly, family service. I'm lucky occasions, they also have the area's best gelato. The frozen kind not the floral variety.

Great little place on the plaza. I think they recently opened so not everything is quite finished like the gelato), but what is open is great. They have fresh pasta and sauce for sale as well a salads and great hot sandwiches. They also have imported goods for sale as well so give this place a look!

One of Arcata 's hidden gems! Fresh organic pasta that is, as another reviewer described, delicate. I tried their Alfredo sauce tonight, wow is all I can say. I 've always attempted to make my own with limited success, mostly because what I found in the supermarket, even in the co-op, was overly greasy and not to my liking whatsoever. I used Pasta Luego 's Alfredo sauce frozen straight into the pan and it came out absolutely perfect! I know it was good because my daughter loved it and that 's what she orders whenever we go to Abruzzi or Mazzotti 's.

While visiting the Eureka area today we inquired about a recommendation for lunch and were directed to the Plaza in Arcata, home to a wide variety of eating and drinking establishments. Lucky for us we stumbled into PastaLuego and were thrilled with our good fortune. Our sandwiches were great, the atmosphere delightful, and the music playing in the background was wonderful. We will definitely go back there the next time we are in the area and happily recommend it to locals and travelers alike!
