La Foret - Arbonne-la-Forêt

The most unfriendly and rude owner I have ever encountered. We waited outside on a VERY hot day for our table to be ready. I went into the restaurant to ask him if I could please buy a bottle of water for the children who were waiting with us. He shouted at me that he will not sell me anything until we are seated at our table and that I should leave his restaurant. As we were waiting there was another couple who stood up and left the place after arguing with him about something. I do not think he is in the right line of work.

Really nice little restaurant. I've driven past many times and wanted to have a meal here. We stopped for an evening meal. Perfectly cooked steak. Friendly owners doing their best to help us given our embarrassing poor French skills! I would absolutely recommend and hope to learn some more French and go back again myself.
