Kaloyanova Fortress - Arbanasi

A very nice location with a nice terasa. The food was excelent!

Stayed at the hotel, nothing special but it's ok for a 1 star hotel. Got the VIP room, once you use the jakuzzi, the whole bathroom would be wet and won't drain well, so you had to go in bearfoot at all times. The AC was super loud, the furniture was pretty used and kinda broken (bed, sofa). The room was not cleaned for the 3 nights we were there. Breakfast was the same every day and there weren't many choices. Dined in one night, the food was not good but the staff was friendly.

5 stars for the playground 2 stars for the food. We came here for dinner. It took one hour to get everything we ordered, although there were only 3 tables occupied with other customers. We had a grill mix plate with meat which was quite shady (chicken was almost raw, pork almost the same), french fries (were made from frozen potatoes), grilled vegetables (the only food I could ate) and some kind of stew (couldn't ate it, also)

Fortress looks magnificent from outside. Restaurant part looks really impressive, it's huge, great for private events. Unfortunately smokers where allowed inside, 2 Guests managed to cover room in heavy smoke just after 20 minutes, made us leave very fast. Entrance for Hotel wasn't very impressive, felt like the service entrance, behind and on the last spot you would ever expect, next to 3 caged huge dogs that barked and hauled all night. Prices on rooms are ok. Personal was helpful and very friendly. Stairs in Hotel was a bit on the narrow side, I could only carry one bag at the time in a comfortable way. Rooms where great, almost impressive. And the towers are only for show, that was a bummer. But all in all a positive experience, saved by the look of Hotel and the kind staff.

Am descoperit restaurantul din întâmplare. Este foarte plăcut la interior dar și exterior. Locul de Joacă pentru copii este o încântare unde verdeața e tunsă ca un teren de golf. Mâncarea este foarte bună și deloc scumpă în comparație cu ce am mai experimentat. Recomand.
