Bidra med feedbackThis is one of the best restaurants for pizzas in Goa, in fact I would rate it among the best in India. The boutique restaurant and bar offering a wide range of cocktails, salads and bar. We came to lunch after the visit...Morjim beach. It was tastefully designed and beautiful atmosphere I think would be improved in the evening. Strongly recommended to visit only for pizzas, but each item was great.
The atmosphere is cozy and charming, but the staff is also very friendly. The service needs a lot of improvement, and the cocktails as well as some dishes must definitely increase the quality to justify the price point. The menu is extensive and yet expensive, but most dishes... it is especially worth pizza, rum soaked prawns, hummus. Overpriced drinks with moderate taste. Some things that have been observed on the two visits I have made in the last 2 months (3 Dec 2022 and 14. Jan 2023) 1) Menu must be at the table as soon as the guest sits. 2) someone should participate in the guests to take the order and suggest the new specialties as it is a newer menu. 3) Attention to orders. 4) The bread baskets we ordered had some bread. 5) Table game after dinner. Our table looked like he was restless. Your staff must be attentive and proactive. Even if the staff notices that a court is not finished and is on the table, you would expect the staff / management to ask / get the feedback. 6) Cocktails at the main bar both visits have disappointed. There are inconveniences in the same cocktail, which was ordered on the same evening over a period of time. When a guest pays 800-900 for a cocktail, he always expects good cocktails. Exorbitant expensive drinks with moderate taste. And last week the cocktail I had at the main bar was like at any beach chop in Goa where you would pay 200-400 for the same. 7) the invoice took a long time to be submitted after the request. We gave the hostess feedback about the food experience and she was indifferent to it. Lack of customer support and attention to customer feedback/disappointment. you would hope that some compassion will be served for raw/cold/unproperly cooked food, and with a substitute, a dessert or simply from the final bill. 8) the pork ribs were brought to the table cold, so that we asked one to change it at the expense. Within 5mins, another plate of ribs, which were stacked in phase, came to the table that were not undercooked until the brand at all low quality meat, and flavors were absent. 9) we have also ordered the beef steak medium rarely, the bad quality meat again, chew with a lot of cartilage and the marinade was wrong. Since it was cut in slices in the kitchen, we had 4 slices (it was 4 of us at the table) and left the remaining 5 odd pieces in dissatisfaction. 10) the burrata was hard and the rich creamy texture was missing. We ate the court halfway. 11) Friday night should be live music, as advertised on the Instagram page, and we came above all to listen to the music. We were disappointed that the event was canceled on arrival. Why was it not published on Instagram that the event was canceled? I had informed my friends Sharan and Ash(regular in the establishment) who came with their guests and we were all disappointed at the arrival there. We couldn't have made a reservation in Verandah and had a live experience on a Friday night. Verandah is a cozy, beautiful restaurant and I have often recommended to visit friends and relatives Mandrem, but in my humble opinion, it will lose to the regular (local Goans as well as Indians who have moved to Goa) would visit more often than the weekend tourists. I have tried to be as objective as possible in my feedback, and it is not intended to hurt feelings, only to improve the setup. After I said that, I do not believe that I will return to this restaurant after another catastrophic experience.
Beautiful ambience, very well decorated place. We were there on a Saturday night and it was pretty fast crowded. Total good service. We enjoyed the pizzas and a fishing.
Loved the place and the vibe. the food was good, some dishes were overrated. The shells were really delicious, I ordered another. The wild mushroom bruschetta was very good. The gypsy was okay that I was better. I didn't like that when they visited our table to check, I told them that I didn't like the Calamari that they were so oily and strong and salty, he was like okay. Don't remember if it was the cook, that was a little disappointing, but I was in good mood so I didn't care much. The bread bag should not be charged, it should be complementary with olive paste. The margarita was good, but if it is hard to have it without straw, I had to ask. The staff is so friendly and sweet. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.
The staff are passionate about their work and dining with them was a lovely experience. While the vegan options are limited, the atmosphere is relaxed with beautiful lighting and friendly people.
