It was difficult to book but was worth waiting. We had two menu dinner plus wine. The lamb was tender and the tuna was just superb
I went to visit Apt with my family, during our trip in Provence. We ordered mainly beef that was very hard to chew. They brought for desert what they said it was plum clafoutis, tasteless. The whole food experience is of a very low quality and taste. When we wanted to pay, my boyfriend did not have a mask but was forced to pay inside as they did not have means to bring the check. Inside, the cook that i understood was the owner also started to yell at him for not having a mask but she did not offer one, that would seem normal. She then came to our table and started to yell in front of our children and myself. I tried to ask her the problem but she yelled at me also, without making any sense and making me and all the other customers uncomfortable. She also said that in my country people are dogs ! comment that in my opinion is very racist. I live in Monaco so I have no idea why we are dogs. If you want to enjoy a beautiful Provence experience, i recommend you eat anywhere else but here.
We ate here both nights we stayed in Apt. The first night we ate in a lovely outdoor setting under grapevines trees. The second night, weather didn't permit this, but the indoor seating is charming. The food was good country French, the service wonderful, good value for money.
For lunch simply by big heat, this restaurant presents the strength of the large branches of a china murier, which spread their dense and refreshing shadow over the entire terrace. on the noon, only the menu of the day to 19 euros, is offered with a limited choice to 2 entries, 2 dishes, some desserts, but it is cooked very honestly, with fresh products and prices are quite reasonable. service is smiling, and effective. a staircase of about ten steps to access the restaurant can get rid of people with reduced mobility.
