Mr Brews Taphouse Appleton/darboy

The food at Mr. Brews Taphouse has been excellent, and we really appreciate the kids' menu. They offer a good variety of burgers, including the option to deconstruct your burger into salads. We've been here a few times with our four kids and have generally had positive experiences. While we've encountered some great wait staff, while others have been just okay, which is why the reason they have not earned 5 stars. Kid-friendliness: Great place for kids! They have an excellent kids' menu, and kids eat free on Sundays. While it is a taphouse, it feels 100% kid-friendly during lunchtime and early dinner hours.

We love coming to Mr Brews in general, but this location is especially fun. RJ is such a personality. We love being here when he’s working. He’s so approachable and entertaining. Great guy. Great place. Great food.

I loved the atmosphere and sitting outside. They have a lot of great drink options. I would highly recommend the burger bowls or salads!

I was excited for something new to open up here after the darboy club shut down. It's a prime location and a decent sized property.But what we got is just embarrassing.This is a cookie cutter bar. There's one just like it off of CB by the Amazon distribution center, the name escapes me ATM.The name is nonsensical, as far as I can tell you don't brew any batches of beer on site, and I may have missed it but didn't notice any mr.brew brand beer so why are you mr.brew? Are we supposed to have heard of mr.brew?See it's just silly.For the size of the property as well, this is a very small location.I walked in for a pick up, they have a door on one side that says please use main door. So I did.Then I stood at the bar for roughly 6mins while 2 employees bickered about something, looking right at me and carrying on with their conversation.This is bad for business, you pause your convos and acknowledge customers this is business 101.When I was finally addressed I was told/shown the pick ups are on a rack BY THE OTHER DOOR!!! The one I wasn't supposed to enter. With a tiny sign above it. no signs anywhere directing customers in that direction to pick up orders off a 3 foot tall wire rack. ...Also BAD FOR BUSINESS.The atmosphere is vanilla, the service sucked in my experience, there's clearly things that need to be fixed. TV menus are costing you money, get light up permanent menus or use chalk ones. Cus at this rate you're going to end up on bar rescue or just shut down. There is nothing special about this place. Their just isn't and in this economy if you don't shine you're bound to fail. Do better ??‍
