Skipper's Fish Fry & Market - Apex

Ordered the fish and chips to go. Fish was absolutely delicious but the fries and hush puppies were just average. I was a bit sad to only get 2 hushpuppies in my entire order, was expecting half and half with fries when it mentioned it came with hush puppies. Definitely needs more seasoning on both. The tartar sauce is also very plain. I will give them another shot and order dine in.

What a treat to be able to dine in for Lunch with my family. I got Cod which was grilled perfectly, the Coleslaw and Hushpuppies were yummy. On our way out we chatted with the Owner who cave us a sampling of the most delicious Brisket I’ve ever eaten which I will be coming back for. Everyone who works there are so nice. Just love this place!!!!

The fish fry here is always very good, and the onion rings in the onion platter are great but there are a couple problems that I have. The coleslaw is honestly a skip, seems somehow both watery and overly grainy texture wise. You also get barely any hush puppies with the platters, only a couple small pieces. Besides that, definitely thumbs up!

I was in Apex doing some shopping and pulled up restaurants near me. I'm so so glad I did. The food was so so good! Seafood and BBQ you can't loose. The brisket was so tender, the smoked turkey was mouthwatering and don't let me start on the seafood Klawd Have Mercy! All I can say is I will be visiting again!

Nice and delicious food , something really different in their style to another places … the combination of fish with BBQ was amazing! I deserve my best wishes and I’ll comeback very soon
