Sassy's Cafe Bakery - Apache Junction

My father visits Mesa every winter for his birthday, and this year I wanted to surprise him with a German chocolate cake (his favorite). I found a lovely bakery that delivered and I was not disappointed! The cake was gorgeous and I was told it was delicious. Thank you, Sassy! I highly recommend them for anyone looking to celebrate special occasions with their snowbird parents. We will definitely be coming back for lunch on our next visit.

The best carrot cake I've ever had. yesterday there was an order for the pickup in the late afternoon. the additional candidate pecans was the perfect note and my mother loved it! many thanks for a great experience. we will definitely come back. note: candles that are not delivered by sassys

I usually don’t like cake but this cake is perfect. The frosting is lightweight and not too rich. The food and coffee is good to!!

I’m in Phoenix for a few days to visit family, and my boyfriend and I decided to try Sassy’s. What a great find! Great customer service from the moment you walk in to the time that you leave. Everyone was great, but Lauren really took it above and beyond to provide the best service with a genuine smile. We got lunch and it was absolutely delicious. The chicken salad sandwich was one of the best I’ve ever had. My boyfriend cannot eat gluten and they were very accommodating. We’ll be sure to be back for lunch!

The service here is horrible. Rude staff. The menu is also not an enjoyable experience. You enter the line and immediately feel the sense of urgency to order. Then the menu is completely segmented. Have fun trying to piece together the meal you want. It would be nice if we didn’t have to order off a screen 10 ft behind the register, or have to read the entire memo to realize it’s just a bunch of overpriced a la cart options.
