Bidra med feedbackWent there earlier to celebrate the Mother's Day, since we saw on some reviews that the food there was great. We thought that the restaurant was filled with people but it's not. Then as we ordered, a lot of food are not available to thinks it's just 2:00pm (crispy pata, steamed lapu lapu, lasagna, special pancit, peri peri chicken). Then there's this incident that they informed us that the peri peri chicken is not available (which is my sister's order) as some of us already got the food. Aside from that, the food took so long to get to our table even the dessert! Well, that's for the food. On the service, it's also BAD. They didn't informed us that the MENU IS NOT UPDATED. So the price of this STRAWBERRY SHAKE is 125 on the menu and we ordered 2. When we got the bill, it says there 310 for 2 STRAWBERRY SHAKE, then from there the waiter told us that the menu is not updated. The price of that shake is 155 each (HELLO CONSUMER ACT?!). Definitely not going back to this restaurant. ????????????????????????

Uhhmm where do i begin..i forgot what we ordered exactly but we ordered steak, pasta and some seafood dish. Quite pretentious on the "Gordon Ramsay" claim..because food we ordered was UGH or maybe it was fathers day when we went there.. but all in all.. ????
Bad-good-great-excellent location: excellent ambiance: great service: great food: we've been here twice, the first time was disappointing but we thought we'd give it another shot. we came back today to have breakfast and we ordered for the Full English Breakfast. On the menu it said that it would have English sausage and beans, disappointingly so, what it included was 2 hotdogs and probably canned pork and beans along with the other food items. It wasn't worth the money at all except that the view was stunning, I guess that's the reason we came back. price: bad restroom: Worst
I've been up Sumulong for dinner numerous times before, but visited DeMars just recently. The place looks simple from the outside to the interior, which is why I was surprised that their menu is more on the high-end side. They also serve the usual complimentary starters just like in restaurants of the same concept: bread, garden salad and soup (malunggay). I haven't started with my mains yet, but I was already half full - in a good way since they're all fresh and tasty. I ordered Steak Ala Pie and Malunggay iced tea while my partner got the Catch of the Day (seabass). Unfortunately, the wrong dish was brought to me (Braised Pork Belly). I wanted to have it changed, but figured the waiter might be charged for it so just decided to take it instead. To my surprise, the pork belly was a nice accident - it's delicious, succulent and melts in your mouth. Glad the waiter messed up my orders! The malunggay iced tea was amazing as well, I had to order another. And to cap my night, they even served us a complimentary Creme Brulee as a 'Thank You' for the mix-up. One of the best I've had in a while. Overall, it was a pleasant dinner and wouldn't have second thoughts on coming back. The only comment I have is that they need to train their staff better, because they also forgot to tell us their credit card machine was broken the last minute. Good thing we had cash. Could've given them a 4/5 had it not been with these issues.
