Delicious Indian cuisine, super tasty. I love this place. It's expensive, but it's worth it. The staff is adorable and ensures you a pleasant experience. I recommend this restaurant to everyone. No, it's not spicy, don't worry.
I came to lunch with my 2-year-old son because the last time he loved the dish with the assortments. This time I was alone with him and without the father. Sir told me I can't eat because he doesn't give a single person a table. I told him I'm with my son and I'm gonna order for me and him. He didn't want to understand, he found he didn't give a single table. I point out that the restaurant was empty. Bad and not welcoming at all, I will come back more, even if I find the dishes are very good. Too bad, he's lost the loyal customers so far.
We've been coming to Chamkila for years. The service is always friendly and the kind, very helpful server. I don't understand some of the negative criticisms. The food is honest, Indian cuisine, authentic but slightly adapted to Western palaces, at a reasonable price. Their natural bread cooked with tandoori is both light and tasty. Just like my curry of Madras spicy last night, tender and almost pleasant but without being too hot. Try their bharji with very crispy onion and the sauces that accompany it, tasty. We've been coming to Chamkila for years. The service is always friendly and the kind waiter, most helpful. I fail to understand some of the poor reviews. The food is honest, Indian cuisine, authentic but adjusted slightly for Western palates, at a fair price. Their plain nan bread cooked in the tandoori is both light and tasty. As was my spicy Madras curry yesterday evening, tender and bordering nicely on but stopping short of too hot. Try their onion bharji very crispy and the accompanying sauces, tasty.
Very nice welcome. Excellent food. Important choice and flavours at the rendezvous.
