Brasserie Des Europeens - Annecy

Across from the Town Hall it was great to happen upon this fine eatery. And even more fortuitous that outside seating was to hand. A fine menu was inviting to peruse. Decided on a fish main plus steak cooked to taste over a flame at the table. All delicious. Next was a shared sweet treat, accompanied by cappuccino and coffee. A relaxing interlude in an atmospheric setting and with attentive pleasant staff.

We tried to get lunch, the waiter said they have seats just on the terrace. We were with kids and it was cold, we said we will wait outside for a free table, the waiter said there won't be any free tables whole day so we left.

Very good selection of fish and meat, mainly for raw fish. Food is well presented and delicious but the prices are out of market. 35 euros for a risotto and 34 euro for a withe fish with baby potatoes. Wines are not served well, the bottle is not presented, just the glass. 10 euro for a glass of Chablis without knowing the winery is too much.

Lunch break on annecy one decides to eat on a sun terrace with a nice time what disappointment. already just to place us, they tell us the reserved table so that we accept the one who offers us 5 minutes after that gives it to the people who had not reserved to look for the error. then very long to come order aperitif and not better for the meal. and the wait between apero and the dish I speak no more than 8 min for a coffee knowing that resto not full of server but we ask what serves the person who seems totally lost and the quality of the dishes do not speak insipid without taste that it is the tartare or risotto not worth the price of 27 euros. even the monaco was not good addition of 82 euros a little salty for himself that we ate nothing exceptional. The frame is very pleasant, a pretty brewery with a nice staff and food was excellent and a very efficient service. We took as main dish the Thai curry which was excellent. I'm a little surprised at some bad comments we're reluctant, but finally after the advice of a person we came here and we didn't regret it at all.
