1771 Grill And Taproom - Annapolis

My family was looking for a place to eat at Labor Day and we stumbled on the place relatively empty. The servers were very friendly, but what triggered this post is the food. We ordered the Chipotle Chicken Sandwich, Short Rib Grilled Cheese Sandwich served with au jus, and BBQ sliders. The comfort eating was absolutely delicious. The bread was perfectly roasted and the pommes were crisp and well seasoned. We will definitely come back when we are in Annapolis and recommend this place to anyone who wants a good meal.

Amazing! Absolutely amazing. My band made a weekend tour with shows in Baltimore DC, but we were in Annapolis about 7 minutes from this place. ABSLUTELY LOWED IT! We were all excited about the food for the rest of the day. It's like a tourist place in downtown, so it's all metered parking, very busy with the hectic bustle of walking, but it's a great area to be. The staff was kindly attentive, the waiting was too long, but the food made it worth everything. Definitely on my list of places to go when in Maryland from now on. In this case, I only made pictures of my food, but everyone loved their food. I had the cookies Gravy, which was the best I ever had. Usually it is lacking either the Gravy taste, or the cookies are dry. That was perfection. I also had her Crab Dip. It has almost like a sweet Thai chili glaze that makes it simply irresistible. I tried to go back the next day, but everyone else wanted to try something different, but I didn't care... the food was THAT good, lol.

Proof that you do not have to be sucked in by the overpriced chain eater to have a good experience. Steaming hot summer afternoon, went to a quiet, relaxing lunch of a few salads.. Server was on the ball, a pretty character in good way and a hip dude. My fist and I combined the watermelon salad and an arugula and green salad that was made for a refreshing lunch. The meal did not drive the bank like the other restaurants that embrace 'Greedflation'. Anyway, we left us satisfied with our food and enjoyed a little insane conversation with the server, the btw, reminded us of Wyatt Langmore from Ozark.hahahahahahaha..

Probably the cutest bar in Annapolis! Has great gin and tonics and we also enjoyed the hot mulled cider. The bartender was super busy while we were there but she still managed to be super attentive and serve us some great drinks! Will return for food another time!

Terrible service! My husband and I waited at the bar for 15 minutes without even being greeted. Someone walked right up after we had sat there for awhile and ordered a drink. **** poor service. DO NOT recommend!
