Osteria Antica - Annandale

I made a reservation for 7:30pm but arrived at 7 and there were plenty of tables available. The staff happily accommodated us. We ordered the Squid for an appetizer, the Canadina for our main dish, and a rose wine and a lemon lime and bitters. The total bill came to $55, which was worth it. The squid appetizer was sizable and filling, served with a delicious aioli. The only downside was that it was heavily battered, lacking a bit of flavor. Adding a wedge of lemon and more salt would have improved it, but it was still enjoyable. The large pizza we ordered had Italian sausage, fior di latte, and potato as toppings. It was a good size and generously topped, but also lacked a bit of flavor. Some rosemary/thyme and extra salt would have enhanced it, though it was cooked well. The staff were friendly and efficient, but as more patrons arrived, they seemed to forget about us. We weren't given the dessert menu, so after waiting for 15 minutes, we decided to leave. The decor was nice with polished concrete floors and exposed brick walls. Our neighbors' pasta and prosciutto pizzas looked delicious, so we plan to return to try those next time.

This restaurant is relatively small, with two levels. We ordered an appetizer and pizza for dinner, both of which were good. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and the service was satisfactory.

My fiancé and I hosted our engagement party at the upstairs function area of Osteria Antica. We were very impressed with the cozy and comfortable atmosphere both indoors and on the outdoor balcony, which was also prepared for the evening. Dustin, Dominic, and the rest of the staff were well-prepared and made sure that the night went smoothly from beginning to end. We were pleased with how everything went, and our guests praised the venue, as well as the food and drinks that were served. We will definitely return in the future.

First time visiting with 2 adults and 4 children. Although the menu is small every dish we ordered was perfect. We had 2 seafood pastas, 2 gnocchi Riviera and 2 pizzas and all were so fresh and delicious. What really gave this place 5 stars were the friendly staff. Nothing was too much trouble for them even when we sent one of the pizzas back. Would definitely go again and recommend to my friends. Thanks for a wonderful night.

I recently booked two large groups here for dinner. The second dinner was for around 30 people and we were allocated the whole upstairs area exclusively. The service was excellent, very attentive, and the food was very authentically Italian. We had sit down set menus for both nights and there was more than enough food. The space was also warm and cosy, and we had the balcony area as well. Highly recommended. Bravo!
