Bidra med feedbackThis place's ramen used to be so good!About 2 years ago, I started going here cuz I was home sick for some authentic Japanese Ramen, thought I had found the place but the noodle and broth quality started dropping about 1.5 yrs ago. I used to go here 2 times a month at least (I'm 1hr away) and now I don't go here anymore: forever searching for a legit Ramen place in DMV
Ordered a Miso Pork Ramen, and Gyoza as an appetizer.Atmosphere is pretty good. Quiet, ambient, and interesting wall designs. Staffs were kind.Gyoza was decent. Fried to a crisp, and wasn’t dried.Miso pork ramen was somewhat odd, does not compare to the other Japanese miso ramen. In other words, it’s an “americanized” ramen.Egg could have been better, and it was slightly over cooked.Chashu was dry.Too much corn.Overall, the soup and the ingredients played separately (meaning no balance). Instead of soup and ingredients complimenting each other, felt like they were conflicting in a lot of ways.
Amazing ramen. First time visiting there. It's a small place, but not small on flavor. Hottest ramen ever. Fantastic. Friendly people working there too. No extra broth charges like Jinya. Highly recommended.
I came here on a whim from northern NJ on a work trip. I must say that this place is awesome! I've had plenty of ramen from NJ, NYC, and Tokyo and this place was definitely top of my list. The atmosphere is almost as good as the ramen itself! From the art on the walls, soft music, and friendly wait staff. I love the bountiful choices in Japanese drinks. I got a Sapporo with my meal ?. As for the ramen... The noodles were spot on! Spice and heat were just right. The egg was creamy and the pork had just the right amount of fat to melt in your mouth. The broth was definitely a highlight! I was so full from the amount they give you but I couldn't help but drink it. Come hungry! Definitely will be back here!
Great ramen place with many types of ramen to choose from. Large portions at a very affordable price when compared to other ramen places in the DMV area. I chose the spicy miso ramen and I was not disappointed; 1 large bowl of sweet, spicy and savory flavor, 2 big pieces of pork.I have eaten at many ramen restaurants but this is one of the first few that I am very satisfied with: great food, great music, great atmosphere. Would definitely come back to try other courses.
