Al Hamra Halal - Annandale

Family owned and fabulous, I just discovered this place last week and went back again today; I plan to be a regular customer from now on. It's a very well kept casual dinning experience with a polite and friendly staff. Both times I've went the falafel wrap has been tasty, filling and the food has left my stomach feeling like I just had comfort food made by my mamma. You can tell in the taste and feel that everything really is made wit/ love from scratch. Definitely try it out :

The best Kebab and Middle Eastern regions in Nord-VA. Recently I went to Europe and went on a business trip for 3 weeks, and I was happy for their food all the time. Your hummus is the best I have. Chicken is amazing, delicate and full of aromas. Naan is very chewing, soft and warm. I went twice to India and occasionally traveled all over the world and didn't cost this good food yet. The best customer service in the city!!!

The only thing better than the food was customer service. The family-run restaurant is worth a visit. The Lammeintopf was very nice, like the chicken brain. The rice pudding was a good way to finish the meal.

This is our new favorite place to eat. It is a family owned business and the owner makes sure the customers are happy. The food selection is excellent and the quality and taste is unique and fresh. It does not have the generic taste that you get when using the same spices for every dish on the menu. The salad is always fresh and the meats are juicy even when grilled. The grilled fish is my favorite dish on the menu. The chicken karahi is a close second. Me and my friends make sure we stop by this place at least once a week. BTW, if you are a fan of chai and you have always been disappointed by how bad it tastes at all the local desi joints, you're in for a great surprise. Overall I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Fantastic service superb food.
