Bidra med feedbackI love visiting this restaurant in the summer. The service is great, the food is delicious, and there is usually plenty of street parking (or a nearby parking lot). The outdoor seating in the courtyard between buildings is lovely, especially with the new table and chair settings this season.
Sweetwaters is a delightful and delicious restaurant that has captured my attention and taste buds. The entrance to the building may be a bit confusing at first, but there are two doors you can enter through. One door leads outside the market area and into a main foyer that accesses other shops in the tower, while the other is the main entrance to the café itself located around the corner of the building. The interior has medium-high ceilings with exposed framework, brick, and air ducts, giving it a raw and real feel. The counter is well organized and clean, and the seating options are abundant and varied. While the space may feel a little tight, it's not overly crowded. The staff were kind and efficient, despite a few items being unavailable. The Thai Tea and coffee were both delicious, and the orange-cranberry scone was yummy when paired with our drinks. The pricing is fair and the quality of the food and drinks is exceptionally high. This café is the perfect spot for hanging out with friends, having a conversation, or working on your computer away from home.Overall, Sweetwaters is a great spot to grab a bite and enjoy a relaxing atmosphere.
Whenever I have visited this restaurant, I have found the baristas/cashiers to be very socially awkward. It is frustrating to have to guess when it is my turn to order because the cashier just stares at me. I am never greeted or told my total, the cashier just walks away. The atmosphere is fine, but there is definitely room for improvement in terms of customer service. Additionally, I find it unreasonable to pay $5 for a regular cup of tea when I could easily buy a box of tea for the same price.
It can get pretty busy and they are suffering from staffing issues but I still got my drink fast and was able to find a spot to work. Drinks are good, not great, but are better than Starbucks. The environment is noisy but not in an offensive way. It's anice place to meet up or get some work done, just be sure to check the hours. Because of said staffing issues they have limitedhours on some days and are entirely closed on others.
Great service and I love their ice dragon drinks! Can't wait to be in town again so I can stop in!
