Prickly Pear - Ann Arbor

Steak fajitas were great, as usual, especially when washed down with the city’s best margaritas. Our server, Uli, is also the best.

Small, narrow place but right downtown. Great margaritas and guacamole. Fajitas had very little chicken but were good.

Salsa was homemade, chunky and delicious. Customer Service was awesome. Staff recommended scallop and shrimp quesadilla did not disappoint. Fajita's had high end steak cooked to order...minor disappoint as it was ordered medium rare and came truly medium, but was tender and flavorful. Nice menu options that were a little tweaked up from ordinary mexican dishes. Great flavors in all dishes ordered and evening was not rushed, even though it was after a U of M football game. Enjoyable evening!

Have not been to Prickly Pear in years, as it went downhill. Pleased to report we had a delicious lunch there. It was different than previously. Service was a bit slow at first, but they only had the one waiter who also did seating...not his fault. It was not busy, but there should have been a backup for him. Other than that, it was great. We will return!!!

The restaurant accommodated our changed reservation time, no issue. We received a booth, not a table out in the restaurant, very nice. Food was great and hot. Service was perfect, not bothersome. A very nice dining experience!
