Bidra med feedbackLove their soup and sandwiches. It is difficult for me to get to the restaurant so depend upon delivery- my main complaint is that their online selection of soups do not match their online website selection. Totally confusing and never know which to order by, the phone menu or the website menu! Several times my order was cancelled at the last minute because the soup I ordered was not available. Not fun when company is sitting at my house waiting for the lunch I ordered. That's my only challenge with this store . Other than this I love them! They have had struggles in the past but seem to be overcoming most of their problems. Most of the staff I have encountered have been friendly and helpful. The manager especially took time to reach out and remedy a concern I had with a delivery. Keep up the good work!
Stopped at the Plymouth Rd. location in Ann Arbor to get my daughter something to eat after she was discharged from U of M hospital. I ordered a large soup and she ordered a soup/sandwich combo for carry out. We waited 21 minutes for this order while other customers came and went. We finally got our order and after we got on the freeway to head home, she noticed that her soup was not what she ordered, and something she couldn't eat. I called the store but was told I'd have to return to the store for a refund or replacement which would have taken me miles out of my way. The order was expensive $25 including tax for 2 soups and half a sandwich with skimpy filling), took a ridiculously long time to get, and was incorrect. Won't be going to Zoup again!
First of all, they have a new sauce called Hot Honey sauce, not gonna lie, this is the best sauce I have ever come across in my extensive restaurant career. It 's very spicy sweet. The service; well let 's just say, is out of this world. If you want to be treated like royalty instead of like family, come here. The phrase Good enough is clearly not in these people 's vocabulary. Excellence exudes from all angles, from the stunning upholstery to the beautiful decorations adorning the walls as an interior design masterpiece. The synergy of the team was unlike anything you 'll see in this world. Hot Soups
Concept seemed promising, experience was beyond disappointing. I recently took a group of 9 to the Plymouth Road location in Ann Arbor. A smarter person would have bailed while we were still ordering as a group, but I had mouths to feed and limited time due to us being on a work testing trip. The shift manager (at 1:30pm on 4/20/23) was disengaged and indifferent to our experience as customers. Our wait for food was beyond long, and several of us received COLD food even after I started running the food myself because I saw it piling up in the back and I asked if I could help them. The food was pretty much all cooked in a rapid toaster oven which, by the way, was microscopic. Overall, the food was mediocre at best. The ladled lobster mac and cheese is quite literally just lobster bisque with boiled noodles added. Unpleasant. One of our group members did not receive food at all and the employees tried to tell me their screen didn't show that I had that on my order. I had to pull my receipt out, that I had thankfully kept, and battle them and then WAIT even longer for the final meal to be completed. Just horrendous experience across the board. I have never in my life been closer to walking back up to the register to demand the tip back I gave them pre emptively on the credit card terminal due to such poor service and bad quality food. Other customers, especially those who ordered after my group, were visibly bothered by their experience (which, a fast casual restaurant should be able to have a group of 9 people order food and not totally derail their operations). If we had wanted to wait that long we'd have gone to a sit down restaurant with better quality food. I have cut my losses and see no reason to return to this location.
Wish this place was closer to home! Soups are great. Lots of variety so I don't get bored with just one. Been here 2 days in a row now. Please open one in Texas!
