Belmonte Fish&chip Shop - Angus

When we arrived, the fish had just been cooked and was nice and fresh, like the chips. All four of us enjoyed our meals. The staff was very friendly, polite, and helpful. The prices were reasonable as well.

Beautifully done fish suppers !! Since Tripadvisor is asking the chipper in the town centre is a mess in comparison their fish was soggy and tasteless, chips were horribly dotty and brownish that what overused oil does to chips i will never be...back to that place.

This restaurant is one of only two chip shops in town, but unfortunately, it is the second best. The quality and portions are poor. If you are a visitor and have access to transportation, I recommend heading to Arbroath for authentic fish and chips instead of this disappointing imitation of a chip shop.

Love this fish n chip shop over it competitor, fish supper cooked to order is best in town. Been using the place for twenty years
