Rest'O des Halles - Angoulême

Just across from the market dan really good , reliable stop with great salads and great ice creams. other food all great too. Confit de canard delicious. We eat there often and love it. I love the ice creams they make and always indulge.

Popped in for a quick lunch while visiting the town. Nice food - good burgers and carpaccio - with great chips. Service is good and friendly. Location is good for people watching. Reasonably priced too.

We had a nice time at this friendly restaurant. The owner was taking care of us very well and the food was very good and fresh. I took the duck and beef tartare and my wife took the white fish with salad !

Tried to use this restaurant today for lunch for six people. Whilst the town was busy due to the Ramparts motor racing event, there were very few people in the restaurant as it was before 12 noon. The attitude of the waiter who 'greeted' us was absolutely atrocious, effectively asking us why we thought we could sit at a table which was reserved - there was no indication on the table we chose, though there was on others. We promptly left and found excellent service and food at the nearby at Le Pistou.

Family lunch chosen largely because they were offering Moules Frites. Large pots of juicy mussels and lovely frites later equals a happy family. Recommemded.
