L'arrantza - Anglet

Excellent service by the team even though at 7pm in August it is crowded. They were very attentive to our family that had elderly people. We waited only 5 minutes then we got a very nice table and quick drinks. The Chippirons a la Plancha are delicious, a must try! Lovely setting on the beach.

This place offer both high tables and comfy beach chairs to get a drink and relax. The drinks seemed a bit overpriced for the quality you get. But again the location is great.

Cadre parfait, c'est indéniable. Au bord de la plage, pieds dans le sable sous les paillotes. Le serveur est sympa. Mais les prix s'envolent. Cocktails bons mais chers. Idem pour les plats , la planche mixte à 19 euros est avalée en 30 secondes nous n étions que 4). L'assiette de chipirons à 14 euros, engloutie encore plus vite... Addition à 70 euros pour un petit apéro en famille de 30mn, ça pique...

Why a star rating?not for the beautiful frame, nor for the servers/servers that are overall nice/gentle. but for the prices and the contents! Okay we're at anglet on the beach but having a mixed board with only different things for I find it a shame. and the mojito I don’t recommend it, maybe I didn’t fall on the right but there was almost no mint and cane sugar I felt like I was drinking a drug. However, I didn’t try the lunch and the dishes look delicious!
