Bidra med feedbackThe Grange de Labahou is now in the outskirts of Anduze. A request to start with a green tea was simply ignored because it didn’t fit the owner’s idea... by a “apéro”. Nevertheless, the dishes were great in the French tradition of good ingredients and aesthetic presentation. The owner Monsieur and Madame are friendly and proud of their dishes and homemade deserts. A selection of local products is sold at the restaurant. Will definitely return on future occasions.
Shame really, the setting outside is lovely for a meal, calm tranquil and pretty. The food overall was very good and plenty of it, but pricey for a lunch time. The main problem was the price of drinks, actually I would say dearer than a...Michelin star restaurant a small white coffee was €6.50! All the drinks were over priced but the coffee.....! For that reason I would be put off to return again. Such a shame.
This was our favourite restaurant in the area when we bought our second home in Anduze six years ago. It offered very good quality and was good value at the time. Over the years, prices have increased and service has deteriorated. Visited last night and...waited an hour to get our order in! Two courses now cost 28 Euro and cheapest red wine (a reasonable Costiere de Nimes) is €26! Quality still very good but much better value is available nearby. We now only visit occasionally and prefer La Truie Qui Doute which offers similar quality, better service and much better value.
