Sis's Cafe Catering - Anchorage

Sis's is a hidden treasure of a deli. They have daily specials and the best wraps in town. Our family of 4 enjoyed the wrap special with the most delicious clam chowder soap. Joe, the head chef, makes just about everything from scratch with the freshest ingredients and has a real knack for putting different tastes together to create a culinary sensation. Kim and Judy are delightful hosts and made our special day of celebration over the top! Sis's caters as well. Prices are mid-range and generous portions are served making the meal a great value.

We enjoyed a delicious curry chicken wrap with fresh garden salad. The service is friendly and prompt and we received generous portions which made a great value lunch. We took advantage of the peaceful and quiet atmosphere to visit with friends. I would highly recommend this undiscovered eatery.

We were in for a quick bite and wanted to try someplace different than our normal places. Here 's the thing...when everyone in the restaurant is wearing coats, the staff should do something about it! Like CLOSE THE FRONT DOOR!!! I understand that the staff gets warm with running around, but I hate being cold and having my food arrive hot just to cool off within minutes because it 's cold in the room! The service was not great. Our waitress would have been ok if we had had history with her. But, she immediately was irritated because we weren 't ready to order and we asked what the specials of the day were. I ended up walking over to the specials board and looking for myself. By the end of our meal, she was nice enough in a rough sort of way. When my food was served, I had a very dirty knife. I couldn 't get her to come back over, so I went in search myself. No one even offered to help me! Our food was pretty darned good...but cold. The atmosphere was fine. Certainly not cozy or charming.

This restaurant was recommended to us for lunch and the food was very good! It took a little longer than expected but was worth it.

This is a catering outfit that also has a retail store with seated service. The food is excellent, but the service is a little spotty.
