Piper's - Anchorage

Pipers Sports Lounge has a large 1/2 off appetizer special of 5-7pm. Food and staff are so consistent that we have become regular. The staff is excellent and friendly. There are at least a few sports opportunities to watch, even if you think there is not much going on. The beverage card is good and the beers are consistently full. Have eaten only appetizers or from the dinner menu, but feel quite sure that the quality goes thru the different menus.

Delicious and memorable experience at Pipers. I love the restaurant and it’s decor. The waitress was friendly and very kind.

The service was excellent, although it was a bit slow, likely due to being under-staffed. It's a charming little spot where you can enjoy a club sandwich or a cup of clam chowder, sip on a few beers, and watch the seaplanes land right outside.

I recently stayed at the hotel, and it was excellent. While heading to the airport, I decided to grab lunch and ordered the steak bites. I would strongly advise against ordering them! They are not worth the price. For $17, I expected more than just eight small pieces of steak. They should serve them on a more substantial base or at least include a larger portion. Also, they need to make the dish more visually appealing. Overall, I was quite disappointed with my meal.

As advertised, this is a sports bar with plenty of TV screens. The food and service are both commendable. We visited with a group of seven, all first-timers, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. Each person agreed that their dish was delicious. The quality and taste were consistently impressive across the menu.
