Pho Saigon - Anchorage

We frequently use DoorDash to order from this restaurant or stop in for lunch or dinner while shopping at Tikatnu. The egg drop soup is incredibly tasty. Our favorite dishes are the Tofu Pho, Tofu egg rolls, and Pad Thai. The restaurant is hidden away but definitely worth the search.

The chicken pho lacks flavor and the service is terrible. I asked if they could make it spicy and the response was unhelpful. When I inquired about the price, the server rudely told me it was $15, even though it said $11 online. As I was leaving, I overheard the server saying something negative about me. I did not tip well because of this experience, and I am writing this negative review to warn others about the poor service at this restaurant. It's not worth spending your money at a place with such bad service.

This is one of the few places I would go and eat alone, company is ok too though. The soup is smacking, let me tell you. For me was the combination beef. Only order Appetizer if you go in group or with someone besides yourself? the soup is huge as heck,it?s worth the money.

We decided to give this restaurant a try when our usual spot was closed. After reading some positive reviews, we were optimistic about the food. When we arrived, we weren't sure where to sit and had to ask if it was seat-yourself, which it was. We had some questions about the menu, particularly about the wings which turned out to only have ketchup sauce. We were hoping for a Thai sweet sauce but the staff seemed confused. I ordered the beef mix pho but wanted to substitute one meat for another, which would cost extra. The server's reaction made me feel uncomfortable and overall, the service was lacking. The wings were average and lacked seasoning, although they were crispy. I'm hesitant to give this restaurant another chance based on this experience.
