Bidra med feedbackInteresting to see so many negative reviews... My wife and I go here for breakfast regularly for the past several years and the breakfast has always been good. The coffee is weak, hence the 4 stars, but I just bring in my own coffee now. Try their omelets and scrambles. It 's good. The servers do have some personality, which is to be expected from a small family run diner who primarily serve regulars . They think it 's home and after a while, it 's funny. P.S. they don 't bring the check, you have to go to the counter to pay when you 're done.
So the interior is a little run down, and it's very dated. The location is hard to get to coming from the wrong direction. But for a small amount of money you get a lot of food, and the serving staff is always super friendly. It's a local business that has its regulars. Honestly if you want a lot of home cooked food early in the morning it's better than Mcdonalds and fun place to go.
Our office ordered from here this morning and this was not a good breakfast. The Biscuits and Gravy were bland, eggs looked weird, and the ham tasted funny. I had to throw most of the meal out. I would consider ordering from Diane's next time since the meal is just as pricey, but is excellent food
The food was not flavorful. The two individuals working there were not attentive to us and we were the only individuals in the entire restaurant. It took forever to get our check while no one was there. They were watching Netflix or some other streaming service because no one else was in the restaurant. There is no buffer between the restroom flushing loudly and the dining area. All the appetizers on the menu looked they were just bought from Costco and thrown in the drier. Nothing special about the food. WiFi was only 1 Mbps but they had it.
TL;DR Overpriced low quality food do not order here until owner realizes charging 1.50$ per 30cent egg and not offering any low carb sides for omeletes full breakfast? I've never been to any breakfast restaurant that did not offer sausage or bacon as a side (that comes WITH the meal, not paying over 1$ per slice of bacon if you want it on the side) This place overcharges more so than they should be. I can get a dozen eggs for 3 4$ at the store, that's 35 cents per egg 4$ per dozen. I understand that there has to be an up charge to make money, but charging 1.50$ per egg? 5$ for a side of grits? 7$ for onion rings? 13$ for a waffle? I used to order from here, it was always 5 or 6 out of 10 in terms of quality. The owner needs to lower prices and use better ingredients (seriously, the eggs don't look natural). Also they don't offer any sides that aren't literally nearly 100% Carbs. Sides for Omelets Only home fries, rice and toast or pancakes? Who the f**k eats an omelet with rice and pancakes? I think the owner is literally brain damaged, or just uneducated on what most people like should be eating. This place is not keto friendly, therefore not up to today's standards.
