Cattle Company Steakhouse Anchorage

My spouse and I had a lovely anniversary dinner and thoroughly enjoyed our evening.

This time the food seemed a bit dull, like it had been sitting a little too long after being made. There were some fiberous things in my mash potatoes and they forgot to bring my father-in-laws coleslaw. Our waiter seemed overworked and stressed. Overall it was pleasant, it just wasn’t like I remembered. They were nice and honored an expired coupon.

Cattle Company has always been one of our favorite restaurants. The food on this visit was awesome. Unfortunately, our server did not get our order in promptly, so we had a long wait. We were impressed that he owned up to it and the manager came out and offered us anything we wanted off the menu for free as well as covering the total cost of our dinner. Having that kind of concern for their guests was very impressive and appreciated. We will definitely be back and highly recommend it to everyone.

The service at this restaurant was exceptionally poor. Despite the lack of a busy crowd, it took 10 minutes for our server to arrive at our table. She eventually took our drink and food orders, but we had to wait another 20 minutes before our drinks arrived. It took a total of 30 minutes for our salads to be served, followed by our appetizers and main course arriving together 10 minutes later. Additionally, there were mistakes in our order and our server never asked if we wanted refills on our drinks. Unfortunately, as regular patrons, we have noticed a decline in the quality of service at this establishment.

Tonight, the kitchen and bar were running at a sluggish pace. Additionally, we were forced to wait an extra 20 minutes past our reservation time because of disorganization at the hostess stand.
