Middle Way Cafe - Anchorage

Had a causal business meeting. Food was great. Service was fast. Great location. Prices were very reasonable and food quality was great. Good portion sizes.

We arrived to a fairly busy restaurant with a 40ish minute wait for our food. I thoroughly enjoyed my breakfast burrito with avocado and chorizo—big, filling portions. One of my friends was disappointed that the French toast seemed more like just toast; the other found the huevos rancheros too heavy on rice instead of black beans. Nice breakfast spot with plenty of seating, even when busy. Wish they had baked goods available when we visited!

This restaurant could easily be number one as the food is dependably good. When we are in town my husband always votes to go there for an avocado melt. I admit they are wonderful but whomever is in charge has failed to work out the kinks so you get your food in a timely manner. It’s easily 30-45 minutes from order to receiving your food. If you look at the clients, it’s mostly friends meeting up for a good visit with food as a part of the occasion or singles using the time to work while waiting for their meal. We wouldn’t recommend going if you are within a time frame as this restaurant is dependably slow. Delicious but slow.

I had a Wonderful Salmon Sandwich and I am Happy that Middle Way is Back on Track!!! The current climate has been stressful for restaurants but I am Glad that They are coming back BIG TIME!!! Thank You!!!

Delicious white mocha. I had the huevos ranchero. It was delicious. It was $19 for one person. My friend had blue berry French toast and she said it was pretty good and my other friend had omelet.
