Poppy Seed - Anaheim

The menu was absolutely incredible! Our server shared a little bit of culinary background from the chef and their studies shows in the quality of the food received that night. This was a first time visit and will not be the last. The cocktails were very crafty and well composed.

We loved all of our dishes and cocktails. The glass building was beautiful. It was a little chilly the evening we went. The glass is not insulated. Overall, I would definitely go back.

The food was great, we did brunch, shrimp.and grits, chicken and waffles, and scramble were all good. Coffee was a bit on the expensive side for a table of coffee drinkers. But will definitely be back.

Had a wonderful birthday dinner! Great service, food was beautifully arranged,tender and flavorful meat and generous serving . Everyone enjoyed their choice and our belly full. We had the bread with 3 spread- eggplant, buttercream and pumpkin( I think) which all tasted great, lobster risotto, duck and mushroom side. The rest of the people in our party had the pork chop and steak.

We chose the chefs seasonal experience, and we were incredibly disappointed. The food was pretty good, but the service was very poor. Paying $350 to not even get your water refilled is quite frustrating. None of the food brought out was explained in detail or made special in any way. We were celebrating our anniversary and not once were we asked if we had been there prior or were out for a special occasion. We are grabbing pizza on the way home and will not be back. For this price I would much prefer the quality of many other restaurants in OC.
