Bidra med feedbackGreat spot to pick up either a slice of Knafeh or to order a full tray (recommend to place order in advance). There's also a variety of other traditional arabic sweets available. However, it is recommended to go earlier in the day as they sometimes runout of Knafeh closer towards closing. There is also catering available.
I came across knafeh for the first time at Trader Joe's and I didn't know what it is. But there is cheese, the description says it is crispy and sweet, and I was like let's give it a try. I tried it and love it. And so when I saw this cafe, I really wantto try the fresh version. And it was definitely really good, I highly recommend. The melted cheese and the crispy shredded fillodough combo is my cup of tea. But if you don't like sweet too much, you should ask them to put less sugar syrup.
There are few things that compare to the delight of a great slice of konafah nabulsiya. I've seen people drive all the way from Los Angeles to Anaheim just to bring back a tray from Knafeh Kafe, and after having it at various gatherings and dinners, I now understand why. Typically, I advise people to temper their expectations for Middle Eastern cuisine in America, but this place has consistently surpassed my expectations. I could easily finish an entire tray by myself. During my last conference in Anaheim, I made it a point not to return to Los Angeles without tasting a slice. After savoring it, I was convinced I needed to order a whole tray! I highly recommend calling them 25 minutes ahead of time to ensure they prepare a fresh tray for you, as everything is made from scratch. The staff behind the counter are skilled, polite, and welcoming.
I absolutely love it! The Knafeh has an authentic taste. I've tried it both at the café and at an event, and it was delicious every time. It’s truly great Knafeh! To really enjoy it, make sure to eat it hot and fresh. I highly recommend it!
The best knafeh I've had in Orange County! It was so delicious that it reminded me of the knafeh in Amman. I highly recommend it! I heated it up at home using a double boiler, and it disappeared in no time. However, I ordered the karak and was quite disappointed—it tasted like a powdered mix with just water added. I wish it had been made fresh instead of using a pre-made mix.
