Bidra med feedbackOur waiter Sam was amazing. He chatted with us and made us feel at home. The food was delicious and the portions were ample! The Double Chocolate Bread Pudding and the Creole Pasta Jambalaya are must haves!
Located at Downtown Disney. It’s a big restaurant that can accommodate a lot of people. They have indoor and outdoor seating. It is a sit down restaurant and there is live music (part of the loud noise). But the musicians are very good. It’s nice to have them playing jazz music while you enjoy your food. The food was amazing. Don’t come for snacks, the servings are big enough to share (in my opinion). We order Poutine, Calamari, Salmon, Hamburger and Chicken strips. We wanted to order the famous beignets but we were so full. We could have ordered it to go but the experience might not be the same. Maybe next time. Highlights: the Calamari was very good! Has the right hit amount of spice and very crispy! The kids ordered virgin Piña Coladas. OMG, they were delicious! Yes I tried it! lol. Cons: it can get really crowded and really loud. But this is Downtown Disney so it is to be expected. We ordered a “medium” burger but it was a bit dry.
Mixed thoughts. Service was ok, food was good, atmosphere a bit of a let down. I’ve passed this place many times, enticed by the jazz and theme appearance. We were sat upstairs, inside where the music was barely audible. The theming was fairly bland, not the exciting New Orleans jazz club style I expected. Appetizers were tasty i recommend the unique poutine and calamari. My entree was the lobster and shrimp roll, which was a far cry from what I expected. Our server was ok, but nothing special, oddly enough we were asked to keep our appetizer forks for our entrees. For the cost of the food I think they could clean a few more forks. The server’s description of a beer wound up incorrect, although I did end up liking the beer. Given the many choices at Downtown Disney, I would pass in the future.
Perfect birthday dinner for friend. Great services. Live jazz music. Finished the night with wow fireworks
The Jazz Kitchen used to be a family tradition of going every trip to Disney, we treated ourselves, but this restaurant is no longer the Jazz Kitchen, it has lost all its New Orleans vibe, if I wanted to eat at Snooze I’d get some pancakes. New Orleans is not plastic, bright, and orange! The food has lost its piazza as well. While our server was great, we have lost our tradition and will have to find somewhere else to go.
