Starbucks - Anacortes

Employees here are nice and appear to be working hard. The problem is, especially since the reopening since the recent remodel, the organization is terrible. I just walked in to pick up an order I placed on the app. Several people have been served who walked in after me and ordered in person. Also, if you order food and drinks, one will be ready way before the other. One station is always way behind the other. For today we only ordered 2 drinks. When I walked in I was the only customer here. It has been 25 minutes and I'm still waiting. I only order drinks and food for my kids, so I can't comment on how they taste. Apparently they're good though, because my kids request them daily.

This is not a place I frequent, but I met with my bookkeeper here because it was a good halfway point. The people here were super friendly. This is a great place for a quiet meeting, or even by yourself for a quiet place to read a book on a rainy day. I will most definitely come back here again if I ever have to meet with anyone in Anacortes.

Coffee/food is standard Starbucks, you get exactly what you expect (on the good end of Starbucks). Excellent service.

During a recent visit in 2024 my teen was told they could not break a 50 dollar bill for a 7 dollar order! They would not provide them service. How can a company that charges so much for their products not have enough cash flow to adequately service their customers? They should have offered a complimentary cup of Joe. Lame!!

Staff greats you as you enter. My only issue is with the chairs. When someone moves them, they make a horrible screeching sound and one cannot hear what is being said.
