A quaint little cafe in Amsterdam, just up the road from the flower market, and close to Anne franks house. The cafe was clean and well staffed, room to sit outside and inside. Our order was taken quickly and food arrived in a reasonable time and looked and tasted good. Toilets were clean and the staff spoke exceptional English. I’d certainly go back if I visited Amsterdam again.
Great lunch spot I had an incredible hummus sandwich here on the softest fresh bread. It’s right on the canal so you can eat with a view, too.
An oddly laid out restaurant with cramped seating, a staircase so steep that you’d swear needed handrails to use while facing only one way (read a ladder on a ship). Vintage or not, it doesn't inspire safety. The melted open faced sandwiches were uninspired. It needs Gordon Ramsey to swing by and pep it up. Maybe the paninis are better?
Lovely little spot to get out of the rain to have a nice spicy tuna panini and fries. Sandwich was amazing and spicier than I’ve had in Europe; the Belgian fries were better than average. Service was some of the best I’ve had for a sandwich joint in the region. I’ll certainly stop back next time I’m here in town.
