Bidra med feedbackAbsolutely fantastic place, great service if you miss sushi, as they have gone vegan, this is the place good beer selection also, many different sushis both with some fischerset and only naturally vegan items that is really good.
I honestly don't know where to start. sushi and gyozas are so good that they don't need soy sauce! each piece looks like an artwork. be prepared to be there at least one hour, as everything is handmade at the place. the waitress is super nice and friendly and explains every sushi roll and how they do it (and when they see how colorful they are, they will be curious). they can also observe how the cook makes eating since its open kitchen. my friend and I ate cook special for 2, 6 gyozas and chocolate mousse dessert. everything was fantastic. this was an amazing experience we will talk about in the old, every time sushi is mentioned in a conversation. the price is good for the quantity and quality of the food they get. make sure that they come at least one hour/hour and half before closing so that they have time to prepare their food as its only two people work. I'll be back in amsterdam next time.
We hadden de specialiteiten van de chef! En deze was zeker een huurmoordenaar. Het was zo mooi om te zien en te proeven hoe er verschillende kleuren zijn en smaakt echt als een feestje voor het oog en de spaakpapil is neergelegd.
There is something confusing, but there are 3 vegan sushi restaurants in amsterdam. two of them are called “Vegan sushi bar” and owned by the same company and then there is “Plant based sushi”. the latter is a completely different ball game! the “Vegan sushi Bar” decides for the “beauty trap”. that means: they use a lot of salt, fat and sugar to taste well and make them want more. And don't let them give it a mistake: they make wonderful food for the public. “Plant based sushi” is much more sophisticated. they avoid salt, fat and sugar, if possible. they create small works of art that look good and taste even better. we tried the special of the cook that is a large plate with many different types of sushi. in the service it looks almost too good. when they eat, expect an adventurous taste! each piece sushi has another taste, structure and “theme”. there are spicy, sweet, salty and naturally Japanese umame. there are regular white but also pink and even blue rice! the mix of ingredients is kreatiw for surprising new aromas. the balance is perfect so that an ingredient never dominates the taste. that can only be the work of a genius! to the happiness you can see the genie (a real Japanese cook) at the work from the restaurants, because “Plant based sushi” has an open kitchen and the chef works directly in front of the guests. his skills and dedicated concentrated optics during preparation is fascinating to consider!
Absolutely wonderful- a good start to our trip. Please see the pros and cons section for the full review
