Great environment! but for eating, the taste can be adapted for tourists. I ordered a 3 cursor menu. the part was good. I was very full after eating. but for the sowed suppe it is not hot enough and the apple cake was cold. it was taken from the refrigerator, probably instead of fresh from the often baked. but overall it has a good value for money in the middle of restaurants in amsterdam.

Very nice restaurant. eating is delicious, the staff are friendly. well, they were pretty busy and eating came a little slow, but it was acceptable. all dishes pumpkin soup, tomato soup, meatballs, bark steak were excellent and price was appropriate. higly recommend this restaurant!

This place was great. Charming atmosphere with old world panels. I order the Amsterdam Menu with the Salad with Smoked Mackerel, Meatball with cabbage Stamppot and had the Apple Pie. The food was very good. The staff was friendly and accommodating with recommendations.

Great authentic dutch food, staff were super friendly and the experience was very authentic. Make sure you try the Hodgepodge and salted herring!

We went to this restaurant due to its great reviews online and it was not disappointed. there are many tourist in there, but eating was really good, so we didn't think we had a fall in a tourist trap. we had a cheese croquettes as an appetizer (oh, so good! cheese, warm deliciousness) and for our main course we both had the hotchpotch. I don't mean much and usually go the vegetarian route, but this court was heavenly. a little on the hard side, but there is a homely feeling for them. the interieur is super cozy and comfortable and the staff super friendly. look at them!
