Capital Kitchen - Amsterdam

The restaurant is very nice and trendy. Wines were very good and WE discovered a creative Dutch food. The service was a little too long, but we enjoyed this moment.

Decided to try this restaurant as it's really close to my place. But daaaamn that was a great decision! Excellent service and delicious food. Also, the place is really cool. Thanks Capital Kitchen!

It was the night before the King’s Day celebrations and the restaurant was rocking when we arrived. The owner kindly offered us free drinks (as we are in our 60s he probably thought this would have been off putting for us. The waitress (who was from Finland) kindly explained all about the King’s Day celebrations (we hadn’t heard about these before) and was great at giving advice on the menu and on wines. We had a lovely evening. My husband particularly enjoyed his halibut starter. We had a table with a view of the canal which was also great. We would highly recommend this restaurant.
